“In the U.S…most of the 80 million new jobs created since 1982, were generated by companies with less than 20 employees, while many large businesses, overtaken by disruptive new technologies, lost about 40 million jobs in downsizing and restructuring”  Dr. D. Bruce Merrifield

MISSION:Our mission is to rapidly commercialize breakthrough technologies that have already achieved success in one market or vertical.

MODEL:Our model is a privatized version of the International Program for Advancement of Commercial Technology (INPACT) developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce in the 1980s, which proved successful in Israel, Ireland, Iceland Finland, Chile and India (where it spawned the Bangalore tech valley). It is based on a few basic principles, primarily grounded in a vetting process that has a 90% success rate over 30-plus years (the Constraint Analysis), combined with establishing a joint venture (LLC) that integrates the technology developer with a large strategic partner, and supplies all the necessary business support functions to ensure rapid commercialization.

PRINCIPALS:   Dr. D. Bruce Merrifield, PhD., is the creator of the Constraint Analysis, author of the legislation that gave rise to the LLC, and the driving force behind the precursor model’s success of 90% over a 30-year history in the USA, Israel, Ireland, Iceland, Chile, Finland, and India. (e-mail:  pridco@verizon.net).  Mr. Ken Werner, was the founding president of the U.S. operation of Cybermation, a firm originally based in Toronto, Canada. In a three-year period he was directly responsible for tripling their revenues and the ultimate sale of the company to Computer Associates for $75 million at the end of 2004. (e-mail:  ken@wernerassociates.org).  Mr. Dan Wasserman, engaged both Dr. Merrifield and Mr. Werner to create Innovation Alliances in 2007. He was personally responsible for founding the first company dedicated to competitive intelligence, securing the success of the largest Internet provider in Canada, and engineering the deal between Lucent and Sun Microsystems that resulted in the Java™ platform.
